Ghosts, Healing, and the Power of Storytelling: Help Us Bring Our First Chicago Event to Life
Support Theatre for Hope and Healing’s crowdfunding campaign to fund Ghosts: A Staged Reading + Talkback this March!
We’re excited to announce Theatre for Hope and Healing’s crowdfunding campaign to bring Ghosts: A Staged Reading + Talkback to life in Chicago this March!
Note to our followers outside of Chicago: this event will be live streamed for you! Stay tuned for information about how you can join us from home wherever you may live.
At Theatre for Hope and Healing, we believe that theatre and the narrative arts are powerful tools for empowering individuals to take ownership of their stories and live their authentic truths. Our mission is to foster hope and promote healing in individuals, families, and communities through performance, education, and conversation, focused on narrative agency and embracing narrative pluralism.
With this project, we’re offering more than just a performance. We’ll be creating a safe space for deep connection, where people can process trauma, engage in meaningful conversations, and heal through the art of storytelling. This is just the first live event since we moved to Chicago—and we need your support to make it happen!
What We Need
Our goal is to raise $5,500 to cover actor stipends, venue rental, and production costs. Meeting this goal will allow us to keep the event accessible to all, while also establishing a foundation for future events that will bring healing and art to even more people.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us thus far—and we’re inviting you to help us take this to the next level.
